地球が誕生してから46億年、2億年前のジュラ紀には恐竜が闊歩していました。
ヒトが出現し石器を使い始めたのは200万年前、火を利用し始めたのは160万年前と言われています。
ヒトが石器と火を手にしてから現代まで、幾多の氷河期を生き延び人類は進化してきました。
原始時代に戻ることができるアウトドア体験で、最も重要な道具はナイフと火起こしであることを自覚できます。
地球に生きる上で、いつの時代になってもこの2つは大切な道具であることに変わりありません。
物を創造し生きる原点であるナイフと火を認識するアウトドアは、地球を見直し自然を学ぶ壮大な旅の始まりです。
＊年代には諸説があります

It is said that approx. 4,600 million years have passed since planet earth was born.
Dinosaurs were roaming around during Jurassic period back in approx.
200 million years ago. Homo sapiens have emerged and started using stone
tools since 2 million years ago then started using fi re since 1.6 million years ago.
With stone tools and fi re, we, Homo sapiens, have been surviving through
several ice ages and kept evolving since Stone Age to present day. And now,
we are able to be aware that the most important survival tool & skill is a knife
and starting fi re through our outdoor experience. And fi re lit exercise brings us back to Stone Age.
As long as we live on this planet, in any age, importance of these two tools
would never change, Outdoor experiences make us recognize ‘knife’ and ‘fi re’ as
an origin of ‘creation’ and ‘life’. And it is the gateway of epic travel to overhaul
the way we see our mother earth and learn about its nature.
